Yes, we've received client reviews on Angi's List and Google. You can see the most current reviews on our website here.
We provide a number of installations such as custom showers and bathrooms, kitchen backsplashes and floors, fireplaces, decks, walkways, patios, steam rooms and saunas, auto courts, water features, swimming pools, as well as interior and exterior stone. We can also install dry pack or deck mud as well as wall or fat mud installations.
We work with a variety of tiles, including but not limited to mosaic, ceramic, porcelain, marble, granite, slate, glass, pavers, stone veneer, cultured stone, and ledger stone .
The time it takes to complete a tile installation project depends on the size and complexity of the project. We will provide an estimated timeline during the initial consultation.
Yes, we can provide guidance on choosing the right tile for your project based on your budget, style preferences, and functional needs. We can also help you design your project.
The main differences are the density in the bisque (the body) of the tile and how hard the material is. Wall tile is primarily made of clay or ceramic, and floor tile is primarily made of porcelain or clay. You may utilize floor tile on walls, but wall tile should not be used in floor installations. If you choose to use clay tiles on your floor, they should exceed 5/16ths of an inch in thickness. For quality and longevity of your floor projects, we recommend only using porcelain-bodied tile.
Unless other arrangements are made upfront, we ask for at least 50% down for a deposit to confirm your project start date. This also allows us to purchase materials and supplies we need for your project, cover employee wages during your project, and it shows that you are committed to your project.
If the deposit is not paid on time, we may elect to reschedule or even possibly cancel your project with us. In most cases, we will attempt to reschedule your project.
For residential clients, payments for your remaining balance will be due on the day of project completion. For commercial clients, payments for balance due will be based on the negotiated contract terms. Payment can be made with cash, check, or here on our website.
If part of your project is delayed, we may opt to do a partial billing for work completed to date. For example, if our team is to install both a bathroom floor and shower, and the plumber's schedule delays the shower install, we may go ahead with installing the floors and invoicing for the work completed to date, and then invoicing for the remaining work once the plumber has been there, and we've completed the shower install. Payment for partial billing is due on the day that work has been completed.
Although we never like to cancel a project, we recognize that some situations will necessitate that. For example, Orca Tile and Stone has a tight schedule with commitments to our clients, and if a homeowner has repeated delays, that severely impacts our commitment to other clients. We reserve the right to either reschedule a project for a future date. Likewise, in some cases, we may complete work that is possible in the time frame allotted with a partial billing, or in some cases, not complete any work of the delayed project. That said, we stand by our commitments to all customers.
